It all started with an invite from a fellow TikToker who decided to escape the Texas heat for a California cool down. Knowing this was a golden opportunity, I jumped at the chance to meet up. To make things even more exciting, I had this idea of creating a pre-recorded video that we could assemble on the spot. Picture the jumping trend from home to paradise. I was determined to make that happen.
Unfortunately, time wasn’t on my side. Between coordinating everyone and actually filming, I realized I was spreading myself too thin. Instead of a group masterpiece, I ended up creating a one-minute highlight reel of the day. While I felt a pang of disappointment, I was still proud of the final product. And to my surprise, everyone loved it! Being called a “Creative Director” by these amazing girls was the ultimate compliment.
Before hitting the beach, we enjoyed a delicious lunch together. That's when I unveiled my surprise: personalized lollipops featuring drawings of most of them. It was a small gesture, but the joy on their faces made it all worthwhile. I’ve never been great with material gifts, so this felt like the perfect way to show my appreciation.
I also made a Today I Honor video for Kimmie for her to blind react. It turned out great and she loved it!
The beach was the perfect setting for relaxation and connection. We laughed, talked, and created unforgettable TikTok memories. It's a shame we live so far apart. A two-hour drive to hang out is a bit much, but the quality time was worth it.
As the sun began to set, it was time to say goodbye. But as I drove home, I couldn't help but feel a sense of fulfillment. The day was filled with laughter, creativity, and new friendships. And while I miss my TikTok besties already, I'm excited to see what the future holds.
